BACON BITES

A four-part series of community cafes where the audience may remain in the house after the show with snacks and invited guests from affinity groups tying the themes of Bacon to our everyday lives.

The Henry Murray Space is a close-up theatrical venue (35 seats) and the set for Bacon is primarily a cozy café.  During the run of Bacon, we offer 4 unique experiences to lounge around in the space after the curtain call, to break bread and chat with friends or make new acquaintances. Special guests whose work resonates with the themes of the event will be in the house. Anyone is welcome to stay.

Bacon explores the gap between being a 15 and 20, and how one queer youth experiences and processes troubling events vs the perspectives from an older version of himself. The purpose of this series is that the conversations spurred by the play extend past a single night and ripple towards a united future.
